Weddings

Picture
Choosing your wedding music is quite often put to one side and left to chance. However, the right music can make for a really good atmosphere at a wedding.

The wedding music page has some suggestions of music that could accompany your processions in and out of church and some possible hymns.

It is known as tradition that the bride be late for her wedding day. The cars and photographer will naturally delay the whole process of your arrival at your wedding venue, so aim to get there for the time of your wedding. Your congregation will have been chatting to each other for the last half an hour, and conversations will be starting to dry up. Out of experience, keeping them waiting more than 10 minutes for your entry won't make them more excited, instead they'll start getting bored and fidgety. This could affect the way that you are received. It is also likely that people who are providing a service at your wedding will have other appointments to get to, and will also be getting anxious.

Plan your wedding day well in advance, and, out of personal experience(!), don't try to cram in too much on the day itself. Most of all, enjoy the build-up, as the day itself will fly over!!
